Cincinnati Reds Matt Davidson Tests Positive for COVID-19

The Cincinnati Reds placed infielder Matt Davidson on the 10-day COVID-19 injured list after he tested positive for coronavirus.  Matt Davidson played in the season opener on Friday as the designated hitter.  His test was taken before the game and the results were not known until after the game.  He becomes the first MLB player to have a positive test after playing in a game.

It should be interesting to see if anybody else that played in that game with Matt Davidson has a future positive test.

Matt Davidson has been added to the MLB Baseball Positive List for COVID-19.  Visit that link to see all MLB players that have tested positive to date.
