Marlins Jorge Alfaro and Harold Ramirez Positive for COVID-19

Miami Marlins Jorge Alfaro and Harold Ramirez are the other two Marlins who have recently had positive COVID-19 tests.  It was speculative that Alfaro went on the injured list because of coronavirus, but now Jon Heyman confirms it.

Alfaro and Ramirez join Garrett Cooper and José Ureña as recent Marlins to test positive for COVID-19.  They have been quarantined since testing positive and will be able to rejoin the team after two negative tests at least 24-hours apart.  The Marlins have also delayed traveling home from Philadelphia, most likely to get more test results from other team members before traveling.

Jorge Alfaro and Harold Ramirez have been added to the MLB Baseball Positive List for COVID-19. Visit that link to see all MLB players that have tested positive to date.
