Atlanta Falcons' A.J. Terrell Positive for COVID-19

Atlanta Falcons rookie cornerback A.J. Terrell has been placed on the NFL's Reserve/COVID-19 List after testing positive for COVID-19 on Friday according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

A.J. Terrell was Atlanta's first round pick this year and earned a starting role with the team.  He will miss Sunday's game and is the first NFL player to test positive during the season.

No other players tested positive on Friday and contact tracing will be used to determine who came in contact with A.J. Terrell.  If Saturday's tests come back negative and other players have no symptoms, they will be able to play on Sunday.  The test results of those players should be available Sunday morning.

A.J. Terrell has been added to the NFL Football Positive List for COVID-19. Visit that link to see all NFL players that have tested positive or have been added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list to date.
